Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM)
Definition:
An industry-standard framework for the practice of data management. It addresses the capabilities needed to position the business case, implement the operating model, ensure funding and support the organizational collaboration necessary to govern the meaning of the data and ensure fit-for-purpose data quality. DCAM is widely adopted by the financial industry and is the basis for the EDM Council’s assessment and industry benchmarking initiatives. <http://www.edmcouncil.org/dcam>
