Information Architecture
Definition:
The function that enables consistent and standardized access, governance and control to an organization’s information assets.
Commentary:
Information architecture is one of the subcomponents of enterprise architecture.
Information architecture is the combination of the disciplines of business, data and technology architecture.
Information management and the analysis of data include straight reporting, data analytics and data science.
The information analytics infrastructure includes, but is not limited to:
– Business Intelligence (BI) tools
– Reporting data marts
– Third party analytics
