Definition:
Standard Data Transfer Clauses are contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities in a specific jurisdiction, that provide a lawful mechanism for the cross border transfer of Personal Data to countries which are not Adequate Jurisdictions.
Commentary:
Standard Data Transfer Clauses include the European Commission’s controller-to-controller or controller-to-processor Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers of Personal Data from the EU to countries, which are not Adequate Countries.
